About this Workshop

Do we have a choice over how we are feeling? If we do, how can we make a change when life gets difficult? Led by neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) coach Pippa Adamson, You’ve Got the Power is a free, online workshop that introduces theatre professionals to brain training techniques that can empower you to change your physical and mental state.

If you’re interested in increasing your resilience and changing how you respond to external events then this workshop is for you. Did you know the neural pathways in your brain can be altered? Any time you learn something new, changes are happening in your brain. If you keep practising the new ones then the old ones fall away. Designed especially for theatre creatives, this workshop introduces these ideas and gives you techniques for interrupting old thought patterns and creating new ones.

These workshops have been made possible by Arts Council England's Emergency Response Fund.
